Republicans should focus on fixing system rather than complaining about a court decision.
"Four state justices 'corrupt,' Costello says in email" (Reading Eagle, March 16) was a bizarre article. U.S. Rep. Ryan Costello, who positions himself as a moderate, rails on about "corrupt" state Supreme Court justices while contending his eliminated district was protected by the Voting Rights Act.
What about the voters whose voting rights have been violated by political gerrymandering? It is time for him to acknowledge past mistakes, stop calling justices "corrupt" and get ready for the next election. Better yet, release SB 22 and HB 722 from committee and fix this problem. Don't hand the issue over to the courts.
