We've designed this website to make it easy for you to understand who represents you in government, at the state and national level, and to let those representatives know what you think.
Use this section to identify your legislators in Harrisburg and Washington. For more in-depth information about them and how things work, see Our State Government and Our Federal Government.
Each of us have three Members of Congress (MoCs) -- two Senators (Bob Casey and Pat Toomey) and one Representative. MoCs deal with issues at the federal level, like Cabinet and Supreme Court appointments and national issues like health insurance, immigration, and human rights. Find contact info for U.S. lawmakers here.
Congressional districts will change dramatically with the November 2018 election, when Berks County is likely to straddle three districts, rather than the four we have now. In the meantime, we will keep you posted about who represents you now -- and who might represent you come November.
Each of us also has one State Senator and one State Representative. It's tempting to focus solely on the blockbuster issues on the evening news, but important business gets conducted in Harrisburg too, so pay attention. Find detailed contact information for Pennsylvania lawmakers here.
Check out our interactive district map to see what Congressional and State legislative districts look like in Berks County. Click on the button in the upper left corner to view different layers. Click on "Proposed Supreme Court US Congressional Maps" to see the most recent and hopefully long-lasting version.
